Summer Ghost Tours of the Canfield Casino Begin July 1
The spirits are stirring once again at the Canfield Casino.
Beginning July 1, the Saratoga Springs History Museum invites visitors to step out of the summer sun and into the shadows with the return of our Summer Ghost Tours of the Canfield Casino.
Running Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from July 1 through August 31, 2026, these 90-minute guided tours offer a thrilling way to experience one of Saratoga Springs’ most iconic and mysterious landmarks.
Located in the heart of Congress Park, the historic Canfield Casino is known for its grand architecture, Gilded Age glamour, and unforgettable role in Saratoga’s past. Once a gathering place for gamblers, socialites, politicians, performers, and high-society visitors, the Casino has long fascinated those who walk through its doors.
But beyond the elegance and history, there is another side to the building — one filled with ghostly legends, unexplained happenings, and stories that refuse to rest.
Over the years, visitors, staff, and paranormal enthusiasts have shared accounts of strange sounds, mysterious footsteps, eerie sensations, and ghostly encounters inside the Casino.
