The Ghosts of Saratoga Are Climbing Aboard the Trolley This October! 👻🚎
Something strange is stirring in Saratoga Springs... and this October, it’s climbing aboard the trolley.
The Saratoga Springs History Museum, in collaboration with the Saratoga Springs Heritage Area Visitor Center, is excited to announce the return of the 2026 Ghosts of Saratoga Trolley Tour, taking place on four select evenings — October 1, 8, 14 & 22, 2026, from 7:00–8:30 PM.
This popular 90-minute experience invites guests to discover a very different side of Saratoga Springs, traveling through the city while hearing tales of ghostly encounters, unexplained happenings, paranormal activity, and the spirits said to linger at some of Saratoga’s most historic locations.
The stories shared throughout the evening are drawn from research by noted ghost hunter David Pitkin and other paranormal investigators who have spent years exploring Saratoga’s supernatural history.
And, of course, no haunted journey through Saratoga would be complete without a visit to one of its most legendary locations...
Inside the Canfield Casino After Dark 👻
Half of the experience takes guests inside the historic Canfield Casino, including its famously haunted second floor.
After the sun goes down and the daytime visitors have disappeared, guests will step inside the Casino to hear some of the eerie stories and unexplained encounters associated with the building over the years.
The other half of the evening takes place aboard the trolley, carrying guests through Saratoga Springs in search of the legends, mysteries, and paranormal tales that have helped give the city its reputation as a hotbed of supernatural activity.
Two Starting Points — One Haunted Adventure 🚎
Guests can choose between two starting locations when purchasing tickets.
Those beginning at the Canfield Casino in Congress Park will explore the Casino during the first half of the evening before boarding the trolley and concluding their tour at the Saratoga Springs Heritage Area Visitor Center.
Guests beginning at the Saratoga Springs Heritage Area Visitor Center, 297 Broadway, will board the trolley first before making their way to the Canfield Casino for the second half of the experience.
Whichever route you choose, you’ll experience the complete 90-minute Ghosts of Saratoga Trolley Tour.

The Ghosts of Saratoga Trolley Tour has proven to be an incredibly popular October tradition, with tours selling out in previous years. With only four select evenings scheduled for 2026, advance reservations are strongly encouraged.
