Grand, Gilded and Glorious Returns June 5 for the 2026 Season
The Saratoga Springs History Museum is excited to announce the return of Grand, Gilded and Glorious: A Saratoga Stroll, beginning Friday, June 5, 2026.
Presented in partnership with the Saratoga Springs Heritage Area Visitor Center, this popular guided walking tour invites visitors and residents alike to step back into the glamour, intrigue, and fascinating history of Saratoga Springs during its Gilded Age heyday.
For 90 minutes, guests will explore the stories, landmarks, and personalities that helped transform Saratoga Springs into one of America's most celebrated resort destinations. From wealthy summer visitors and luxurious hotels to mineral springs, high society gatherings, and unforgettable local legends, this tour offers an entertaining look at the city's remarkable past.
The experience begins at the Saratoga Springs Heritage Area Visitor Center and continues through historic Congress Park before concluding with a guided tour of the elegant Canfield Casino, home of the Saratoga Springs History Museum. Admission to the museum is included with every ticket.

Participants should expect to be standing and walking throughout the tour. Some stairs are included along the route. Tours run rain or shine.
