Museum Reopening & Launch of AI Historical Tour Guides

  • 1 E. Congress Street Saratoga Springs, NY, 12866 United States (map)

March 7 | Saratoga Springs History Museum

Join us as the Saratoga Springs History Museum reopens for the season with the debut of an extraordinary new experience: AI Historical Tour Guides.

This reopening marks a bold new chapter in how local history is explored and understood. For the first time, visitors will be able to engage in real-time conversations with digital avatars inspired by the figures who shaped Saratoga Springs and the Canfield Casino.

Be among the first to:

• Chat with historical figures like John Morrissey, founder of the Canfield Casino and visionary behind Saratoga’s racing legacy
• Explore the powerful story and legacy of Frank Leslie, publisher and advocate for women’s suffrage
• Speak directly to interactive portrait-based avatars in select exhibits
• Ask your own questions about Saratoga’s past — and receive thoughtful, historically grounded responses
• Experience the Canfield Casino in a completely new and immersive way

Using your smartphone, you can converse with history itself — learning about 19th-century society, the rise of the Saratoga Race Course, the transformation of the Casino, and the individuals whose decisions shaped the city we know today.

The platform also supports multiple languages — including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Arabic — helping make Saratoga’s history more accessible and welcoming to visitors from around the world.

This innovative experience is included with regular admission.

History is no longer something you simply read.

Now, it speaks back.

All ages welcome.
