Members of the Saratoga Springs History Museum are invited to join us for a special private open house filled with history, conversation, and behind-the-scenes discovery.
This complimentary evening is our opportunity to thank our members for their continued support and welcome them into the museum for a relaxed and engaging experience. Museum staff will be available throughout the evening to meet with guests, answer questions, and share more about the work taking place at the History Museum.
Visitors will be invited to explore the museum’s upper-floor galleries and enjoy a series of short, informal gallery talks presented by members of the museum team. These talks will highlight fascinating objects, stories, personalities, and moments from Saratoga Springs’ past, offering guests a deeper look at the exhibitions and the history they preserve.
The evening will also include live demonstrations of the museum’s interactive AI kiosks located throughout the building. Guests will learn how to use these innovative tools to ask questions, uncover additional stories, and interact with Saratoga history in an entirely new way. Whether you have already tried the kiosks or are experiencing them for the first time, museum staff will be on hand to guide you through the technology and demonstrate some of its most exciting features.
Light snacks and beverages will be available as guests mingle with fellow members, connect with museum staff, and enjoy the galleries at their own pace. It will be a wonderful opportunity to spend time in the museum after hours, learn something new, and celebrate the community that helps make our programs, exhibitions, and preservation work possible.
This event is free and exclusively offered to museum members. RSVPs are not required, but they are appreciated and will help us prepare for the evening.
Not currently a member? You are still welcome to attend and become a member at the door. Membership is a wonderful way to support the preservation and sharing of Saratoga Springs history while enjoying special programs, invitations, and opportunities throughout the year.
