Health, History, and Horses

Fourth Grade students visit the History Museum and learn about daily life in Saratoga Springs in the late 19th century. In this 40 minute program, students are educated about the history of Canfield Casino and what life would have been like in a home in Saratoga Springs 100 years ago. Students have the opportunity to hold artifacts and experience the differences and similarities between life today and yesterday.

$3.50 per student; chaperones and teachers admitted complimentary.
 
Scouting Programs

The History Museum staff can present various programs on Saratoga Springs History to Cub, Girl, and Boy Scout troops. Programs can be adapted depending on your pack's focus. Fees are $3.50 per scout. Program times and topic can be arranged by calling the museum staff at (518) 584-6920.
 
Adult Educational Programs/ Guest Speakers

History Museum staff is available to present programs to groups on site and at your location. We can present on a variety of topics, just a few being: a history of our museum, the settlement of Saratoga Springs, and a history of photographers in Saratoga Springs. Call the museum to discuss availability of programs and fees.
